16-year old Sakurano Tazusa is a Japanese figure ice-skater who considers herself to be worth $10 billion in beauty. While executing her moves in the Women's Figure Skating Grand Prix, she stumbled and landed badly. At the same time, in the same city, a Canadian youth by the name of Pete Pumps was performing an air stunt when his plane crashes and he dies. Tazusa starts to hear a strange voices and realises that the Canadian ghost now resides in her body. After futile attempts to get rid of Pete, Tazusa decides to get accustomed to his presence and in the meantime, improve on her techniques in order to get selected for the Olympics.

I heard this anime had a low budget. I so badly want to read the light novels, since it's the anime's foundation. The plot was actually unique, I mean, how many anime do you have where a figure skater is possessed by a Canadian ghost? It's even rare to have an anime with a figure skater.  I love this anime because you can actually see how Tazusa, the main female lead changes from that arrogant girl to someone who respects others and views those around her with a broader perspective.

The plot is interesting, undoubtedly. While it wasn't groundbreaking overall, there is a certain charm to it that makes you want to keep watching. Be warned that you will be led to a bittersweet ending but the tears of joy ( and sadness ) are worth it. I'm a generally emotional person but I don't really cry unless there's just something in the story, or scene that touched me.

The characters are unique, and definitely intriguing in their own way. While the 12 episode limit didn't allow us to explore all of them as much as we'd have liked to, they're all wonderful characters. There is an array of characters who spiced up the show in their own way and successful comedy plays an important role in this anime. Tazusa was a brat in the beginning, thinking selfishly only of herself and not really caring about outsiders. Despite all that, she does have bottled up feelings and thoughts that the harsh paparazzi will be more than glad to reveal to the world. Unlike most characters who begin with success, Tazusa's one begins with a fall. She tries, over and over but fails and Pete's appearance doesn't help her. A ghost possessing her body for a hundred days is not welcomed and tomatoes become a significant keyword in the plot. Turns out our adorable male lead has an aversion to the fruit and at the risk of her own health, Tazusa takes joy in making him suffer by consuming as many as she can.

Despite the light-hearted atmosphere it sets, the anime can be a little deeper than it looks and being a star isn't easy.

The animation was terrible. It's expected of a low-budget anime and while horrible animation has its effects on the viewers, the overall plot and the way that the anime was carried out is sufficient to cover up for it.
The BGM is not groundbreaking, to say the least, but not terrible either when talking about the OSTs. The voice acting was good, especially the first episode, Tazusa's Japanese accent when speaking in Engrish was so funny. I adore the OP and ED :3
This anime is worth watching. While the animation might have brought the overall rating down, it's one of those underrated and unique anime.

P.S. One thing I love is how Pete's hair is blonde, not because it's anime and Japanese people can have any hair colour but because he's Canadian and legally blonde.
